Hi, I'm Melissa.
When new clients walked into my psychology practice, I could see the exhaustion and frustration in their eyes.
Many had tried everything — years of talk therapy, self-help books, podcasts — yet still felt anxious, reactive, overwhelmed, or completely numb. They were functioning on the outside, but inside felt hijacked by symptoms they couldn’t shake.
After nearly 15 years in private practice, and walking my own healing path, I realised what is missing: practical neuroscience-informed education about the nervous system — the real key to lasting change.
That realisation led me to create The Groundwork Project™ — body-based tools, and a supportive community to help you move out of survival mode and back towards a felt sense of safety in your mind and body.
